Routine check-up and cleaning
A full exam, cleaning and polishing of the teeth customized for patients with sensitive teeth. Home care instructions given. Recommended twice a year.
X-rays and intra oral photos
Digital sensor with minimal radiation and intra oral camera for cavity detection and to check the health of your gums.
Fluoride and sealants
Flouride - Add an extra layer of protection against cavities. It also reduces sensitivity for a limited time.
Sealants - They are resin materials flown into deep grooves of the chewing surface to prevent cavities.
Fillings / veneers / crowns
We are a ‘mercury- free’ practice. We use tooth colored fillings. They are composite resins bonded to the teeth. It is strong and esthetically pleasing.
Crowns are protective caps used when much of the tooth structure is damaged.
Veneers are thin porcelain shells that are bonded onto the front surface of the teeth. Veneers are used to cover chips, cracks, discoloration. They protect the teeth and enhances your smile.
This is done for patients with inflamed and bleeding gums that need a bit more care. It usually takes 2 visits and is some times done under local anesthetic.
Implants and bridges
Implants and bridges are options for replacing missing teeth. Implants are titanium screws that replace the missing root. Once integrated, a crown goes on top of the implant. A specialist will assess the condition of your bone to determine if you are a candidate for implant.
We use an in-office Zoom® whitening system which utilizes hydrogen peroxide that is strong, yet safe for enamel. Take home whitening trays and gel are also available which are far more effective than over the counter strips.
Invisalign® is an orthodontic system that uses special plastic trays to help straighten the teeth. A series of aligners are used which are worn 1-2 weeks each for the duration of the treatment.
We use the latest Itero® digital scanner to get digital impressions. No more gooey stuff in the mouth.
Biolase® Epic Laser is used for esthetic gum modification.
Laser is also used to remove bacteria from the gum pockets, and treat cold sore or fever blister instantly.
Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is used for relaxation for anxious patients.
Oral sedation is prescribed if necessary, following the initial exam and thorough medical history evaluation.
Botox® is used for Cosmetic and therapeutic treatment of TMJ pain, migraine and other orofacial pain.
Mouth guards also knwon as night guards are the most common treatment for teeth grinding. These guards are designed to cushion your teeth, protecting tooth surfaces and relieving stress that can cause tooth loss and jaw pain.
